AQF Safety Ball Valves

AQF Safety Ball Valves are mainly used in hydraulic bladder accumulators as safety, flow interruption, and unloading accessories. The safety valve maintains the system's set pressure value. When the pressure exceeds the set value, the safety valve opens to prevent system overload. It is especially essential for accumulators in closed systems, effectively preventing damage caused by sudden increases in external load.

Its core function is to protect the accumulator and the entire hydraulic circuit by controlling the flow of hydraulic fluid to prevent system overload and unload.

Main Functions and Working Principle

1. Pressure Setting and Relief: The valve has an internal spring or pilot valve structure. When the hydraulic system pressure exceeds the user-set safety value (e.g., 31.5MPa), the valve automatically opens, quickly releasing hydraulic fluid to prevent further pressure rise that could lead to accumulator explosion or pipeline rupture.

2. Safety Flow Interruption: Acts as a "gate" between the accumulator and the system. In the event of a sudden high-load impact in the system, the safety valve can quickly cut off the oil circuit, protecting the equipment from damage.

3. Unloading and Oil Drainage: In addition to its protective function, it is also commonly used as an oil drain valve to quickly drain the oil from the accumulator for maintenance or replacement.
